As representatives of the authorities in the country, more than 30 thousand people came to the ancient ruins of Stonehenge to celebrate the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere – the summer solstice of the day.

Stonehenge is regarded as one of the most popular sights of the country. Each year it has more than 750 thousand tourists. It is believed, that it built in three phases, with the Millennium III to VI century BC, but its exact purpose remains a mystery.

Many of people call Stonehenge as one of the best places for the celebration of winter and summer solstice.
