Today, is going presidential election in Iran. Representatives of the electoral commission announced, that the right of vote there are more than 46 million people of Iran, that are over 18 years.
At the presidential race there are 4 candidates. According to observers, the main competitors are the incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad and oppositionist Mir-Hossein Moussavi, who has repeatedly criticized the policies of the current leader.
In the event, if no one of candidates will obtain more, than 50% of the votes, then on the June 19, will be held a second round of voting.
The President of Iran is not only the bearer of supreme power. It belongs to the spiritual leader – Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
