An unusual catch of the fisherman got the American

An American fisherman catches battle air-to-air missile.

Finder of the strange item is Rodney Salomon which caught it in the Gulf of Mexico, over 80 kilometers from the coast of the U.S. state of Florida. There was a hole in the missile, so the fisherman has decided, that the missile had already been destroyed, and left it as a talisman. With an unusual souvenir on board, Salomon continued to fish on the boat for another 10 days .

After returning from fishing, Salomon reported his treasure to the local fire service. Firemen evacuated the dock and caused engineers for missile to get it neutralized. There is a naval site, adjacent to the area where a fisherman discovered a dangerous talisman.
