Unusual for the light and color picture presented at the Cannes Festival of Filipino director Mendoza. The story of the film is based on real facts of the murder of a dancer called “Slaughter”, one of the many cabarets city gangs operating in Manila.

According to the Philippine director, this “movie is not for wide screen.” Mendoza said that he does not want to give “Slaughter” in the rental, and immediately produce a film on compact disks.
