KFCIn Australia on the August 3, family of diseased girl by salmonellosis, sued the KFC company.

The plaintiffs allege, that in 2005, Monica Samaan, which at that time was seven years old, ate a snack at KFC in Sydney chicken, contaminated Salmonella. According to counsel, to the family of Monica Saman, Anthony Bartley, experts with high accuracy have proved, that the source of infection was just chicken.

Because of salmonellosis Monica Samaan has lost the opportunity to move on wheelchair. In addition, the girl got dementia.

The KFC company officially expressed condolences to girl with disabilities, however, stressed, that has nothing to do with her illness. At the same time, Anthony Bartley in an interview with the correspondent of the newspaper “The Times” said, that in the month, when Monica became sick, the symptoms of food poisoning suffered another 10 visitors of Sydney KFC with the same food, including parents and brother of Monica.

The plaintiffs demand compensation from the KFC in the amount of 10 million USD.
