In the Eastern Jerusalem, police evicted nine Palestinian families from their homes. According to the law enforcement officers, the raid was carried out before dawn, with the participation of large numbers of police officers. They noted, tha that to the empty hous almost immediately drove the Jewish settlers.

The operation was followed by the ruling of the Supreme Court of Israel, that the land originally belonged to the Jewish people.

At the United Nations was considered, that the eviction of Palestinians “completely unacceptable”, and the Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas called these actions as “illegal and inhumane.”
