In Algeria, as a result of special operation were killed 18 Islamist militants

In Algeria as a result of operations by government forces, were killed 18 Islamist fighters. As the country representatives of the military command say, the operation was carried out in an area of Batna city. They said, that eight militants were killed by explosions, others killed in the clashes. Government forces also suffered casualties – at least 14 people reported dead.

Remember, that the fight against militants in Algeria has continued since 1992.
