Terrorist attack in Spain: Dozens Wounded

As a result of the terrorist attack in northern Spain, injured dozens of people. According to the local Ministry of the Interior, the car exploded minefield in an area near the barracks of Burgos city National Guard base.

Affected by the attack were wounded mostly by the rubble of glass. Investigation is under the circumstances of the accident.

Spanish authorities suspect of involvement in the attack – separatist group ETA.

The last attack attributed to ETA guilty, was committed in June of this year, when set in a car bomb killed a policeman.

ETA is fighting against the central government for 40 years with loud explosions and assassinations. During this time, were killed more than 800 people. The main goal is the creation of an independent militia Baskonii in northern Spain and southwestern France. EU and U.S. consider ETA organization as terrorist, but in the Basque Country it enjoys great popularity among the population.

In recent years, the police managed to weaken the extremists due to numerous arrests, carried out jointly with the police in France.
