The Israeli edition of The Jerusalem Post was able to get picture, which show children in a summer camp, of Hamas, playing in the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit. Article with photograph has been published in newspapers on 27 July.
After reviewing the available photos, journalists have concluded, that staging the abduction of Shalit has been played at the ceremony of closing the camp. At presence of the representation of high-ranking Hamas member, Osama Mazini, representing the interests of the movement in the negotiations with Israel on the release of Shalit.
Commenting on the presence of Mazini on the photos, representative of the Israeli Ministry of Defense said: “It shows Hamas to Palestinian children, that the abduction of soldiers – is a normal part of everyday life.”
According to the publication, in the Hamas camps, rest more than 120 thousands of children who are studying Islam and have a kind of military training with a toy weapons.
