A passenger plane belonging to the Iranian airline – Mahan Air, committed on Sunday, July 26, an emergency landing at Tehran airport after one of its engines started to fire.
The airliner took off from Tehran and went to town Mashahar in the south. The fire began to spread shortly after departure, and the crew decided to return to the capital. Mark of the aircraft, as well as the number of passengers on board, is not tod. No injuries were reported.
This is the third incident with the Iranian planes over the last month. On July 15, upon arrival at the emergency landing near the town of Qazvin crashed Tu-154 of Caspian Arlines, coming from Tehran to Yerevan. When it crashed, died all 168 people on board.
On July 24 in Mashhad airport during an emergency landing and caught fire, airplane crashed into the fence, leaving out of the runway. As a result, 16 people have died.
