The Netherlands government returned 69 ancient artifacts to Iraq, which left the country some time before. According to the authorities of European countries, the artifacts, were decided to return after the discovery of Interpol, at the art dealers and determination of their origin.
The authorities said, that among the items there is a terracotta relief, which shows the bearded man who prays. This was a relief more than 2 thousand years old, passes the BBC.
Thousands of antiquities had been looted from Iraq during the chaos, that followed the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in 2003.
