In northern Iraq as a result of two terrorist attacks were killed 16 people, more than 25 injured. The terrorist attack occurred yesterday in two Shiite villages, located in the vicinity of city - Mosul. In both cases the cars exploded, mined and abandoned at roadside by extremists.
The motives behind the attacks are unknown, but a new wave of violence may be associated with a high level of inter-ethnic tensions at northern Iraq. In villages where the explosions occurred are living Turk-men Shiite and Sunni radicals which were still striving to ignite the fire of civil war in Iraq.
Mostly the main factor of instability, also remains strained relations between Kurds and Arabs in the oil-rich northern Iraq province – Kirkuk.
