Iran hanged 20 drug traffickers

In Iran, on 4 July, 20 drug traffickers were hanged on. The sentence was carried out in a prison, 30 kilometers west of the capital Tehran.

Reported, that all the executed were convicted of the purchase, sale or transportation of various types of drugs. In total, they had seized 700 kilograms of heroin, cocaine and opium.

Remember, the death penalty in Iran, is punishable by murder, rape, armed robbery, kidnapping and drug trafficking. This year, Iran executed more than 120 people.
