Robbers of jewelry store in LondonBandits, that on August 6, robbed a large jewelry store in London “Graff Diamonds”, had a makeup.

As it became known, when the police found a make-up artist, who changed the appearance of the two robbers – in particular, changed the face by using latex, overdye hair and a slightly “old” them. 29-year-old make-up artist, freelancer, who is not named, said, that he did not knew the true purpose of his clients. They told him, that they wanted to withdraw a video clip.

In police reports, described the robber’s as white and black men about 30 years. Bandits were dressed in gray suits stringent. The investigation had their portraits because they were shot on camera surveillance.

The police confiscated from the studio of make-up artist, combs used by thieves to conduct a DNA examination of the hair. In addition, the make-up artist gave notes, which paid the bandits. During the interrogation, told the artist, that worked to change the exterior of the robbers for four hours. They spoke a little to him and behaved arrogantly.

As it became known to journalists, investigators suspect, that the robbers are connected with the famous group “Pink Panther”.

Bandits entered the shop “Graff Diamonds” at the afternoon on 6 August. They took out a weapon and ordered everyone present to fall down, except one of the sales. At gunpoint, saleswoman gave to robbers 43 items of the total cost of 40 million pounds of sterling. Then the assailants forced the woman to follow them to the car and fled. During the runaway, they were changed at least three vehicles. In addition, by the way they passed a man on a motorcycle with a pack.

Police do not rule out, that the thieves have already moved abroad. The most likely place for the marketing of stolen jewelry, is the Middle or Far East.

On August 10, on suspicion of involvement in the robbery, was apprehended 50-year-old Londoner. Sooner he was released on bail.
