B. Obama condemned the actions of the Iranian authorities

Barack ObamaU.S. President Barack Obama has expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the Iranian authorities, of use enforcement measures against people, who do not agree with the results of presidential elections in the country. He noted, that the White House joins the international community in condemning the way to stop the protests in Iran: threats, beatings and detention.

The American leader said, that he do not want intention to interfere in the internal affairs of Middle Eastern countries, but finds it unacceptable an attempt to suppress the people of Iran, to influence their future.

According to experts, this time B. Obama was more rigid, than before.

Before this, B. Obama had a balanced position on the Iranian elections. Members of the Presidential Administration said, that carefully monitoring of the situation closely B. Obama arranged on the situation in Iran and declared, that the U.S. is concerned about violence in Iran, but do not intend to interfere in the course of the electoral process. Senators, Republicans in their view, criticized the weak position in the activity of the presidential administration in relation to the elections in Iran.

Remember, that in Iran for more than a week of continued protests of the opposition, opposed the official results of presidential elections on 12 June, brought the victory of conservative Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Losing the election of former Prime Minister Mir-Hossein Moussavi calls for the abolition of the voting results.

The current riot in the country, became the most extensive in the past decade and, according to some reports, there are killed at least 17 people.

World leaders, as well as the head of the UN, called on the Iranian authorities to halt violence against demonstrators.
