Iranian authorities have expelled from the country a British journalist. Reporter of Broadcasting Corporation BBC declared persona non grata and must leave the country within day. The authorities reported, that John Lane is accused in distorted coverage of protests in Iran and supports the rioters, transmits radio “Freedom”.
Earlier, British Foreign Secretary David Milibend rejected accusations, that London is supporting the Iranian opposition, protesting against falsification, as they say, the outcome of the presidential election. Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Britain stressed, that the election of Iran’s leadership is a matter for the Iranian people.
