In Bolivia, began the judgement process on the ex-President

In Bolivia, began the trial of former President Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada and his 16 ministers, passes the BBC.

They were accused of force breaking up anti-government demonstrations in 2003. In which 60 protesters were killed.

At trial, there are only eight people: de Lozada and three ministers are living in the United States, three others – in Peru.

The judgement could not continue in the absence of the defendant, so now the Bolivian authorities are looking for extradition of ex-president.
