Army of the DPRK, is on the alert

Army of the DPRKCommand of the Armed Forces of North Korea led the army on high alert, was  reported on August 17, referring to the North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

The decision of North Korean military, said agency due to the starting on August  17 joint military exercise of the United States with South Korea. Pyongyang described the military maneuvers of Washington and Seoul as a threat to the security of DPRK and threatened with “immediate and ruthless response” in the event if any aggressive action will take place by the United States and South Korea.

In a distributed notes by North Korean authorities, the inhabitants of the country required to be “vigilant” for enemy troop movements and be prepared to act decisively against possible aggressors.

It should be noted, that the leadership of the DPRK has expressed their willingness to respond to the military exercise in Seoul and the United States. In particular,  on August 16, Pyongyang has warned the United States and South Korea, that could use nuclear weapons to erase from the face of the earth, these two countries, if in the course of those exercises would be allowed any provocations towards the communist state.
