In China, 30 students fell ill with influenza A H1N1.
The outbreak of the disease occurred in an elementary school, located in the south of Guangdong Province and has developed very rapidly: since the first diseased, it took only about a week. Local authorities have decided for temporarily closure the school.
Recall, that on 11 June of 2009 World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a pandemic of influenza A H1N1. This was the first time in 40 years. This measure was adopted, because of the increasing number of infections in the United States, Asia, Europe and Australia. In a statement, which was sent to the countries – members of the WHO, the organization announced, that it has increased the level of pandemic influenza from 5 th to 6′th. This means, that the global epidemic of the disease began.
This decision was taken after an emergency meeting of the Organization of the UN health.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) on 9 June of 2009, 73 countries and 26 thousand 563 registered cases of influenza A H1N1, from which 140 people died.
Earlier, the U.S. government’s health said, that the vaccine for virus could be ready as early as October 2009. But only if it’s medical test’s and launch of the drug in the production will take place without difficulties.
According to the American Center of control the spread of diseases, scientists have begun to list samples of the virus producing drugs.
