Ministry of Health in Turkey has confirmed the first two cases of nationals of influenza virus A (H1N1). We know that a dangerous virus detected from the Turks which returned to the country from New York.
The communication ministry noted that the patients are isolated and are under the supervision of doctors. The state of health is assessed as stable.
Recall earlier influenza A (H1N1) was detected in two Americans who arrived in Istanbul. After recovery, they were discharged from hospital and went abroad.
According to the WHO on May 29, 2009., 53 countries around the world has more than 15.5 thousand cases of influenza A in humans. 99 died from the virus, of whom 85 and 11 in Mexico and in the United States.
