H1N1 in China, influenza A patients exceeded 1 thousand 300 people

The number of reported cases of human influenza A (H1N1) in China exceeded 1 thousand 300 people. Only in the last day in the country identified 79 new cases of a new human virus, bringing the total number of infected people up to 1 thousand 302 people.

Nevertheless, China did not reveal disease deaths “pork flu”, and 1 thousand 85 patients already discharged from hospital. The official number of cases worldwide has reached 89 thousand 921 people, 382 of them died.

It is noteworthy, that the virus started to mutate. At the end of June it was reported, that in Denmark recorded the world’s first case of “influenza A” resistant to essential medicines for the treatment – “Tamiflu”. Fortunately, the patient, who was infected with mutated type of virus, recovered, and his life is not threatened.

According to doctors, this was an isolated, private event, which was not transmitted to other people. Prior to this, the sustainability of the virus A (H1N1) to the main drug for the treatment – “Tamiflu” is not observed, as in the process of testing, both before and after admission to the sale.
