Armored – Trailer 2

Sony has debuted the first trailer for a new heist thriller called Armored starring Columbus Short, Matt Dillon, Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne, Milo Ventimiglia, and Skeet Ulrich. Armored should be quite entertaining. It seems to be both a bit comical and a bit thrilling, and I’m not opposed to that kind of mix, especially with the cast that they’ve rounded up. It really does look like some solid early fall entertainment. I’m not sure about Nimród Antal’s directing just yet, but at least it has the cast and it has the story, and that’s what counts the most for now.

Armored is directed by Hungarian filmmaker Nimród Antal, of the award winning film Kontroll as well as Sony’s Vacancy previously. The screenplay was written by first-time writer James V. Simpson. Screen Gems will be debuting Armored in theaters everywhere on September 18th later this year.
