SpielbergSteven Spielberg determined his next work as director: he will direct a novel «Harvey», for which Mary Chase won the Pulitzer Prize at 1944. On the adaptation will work Jonathan Tropper – for the author of bestselling novels, this will be the first scenario. «Harvey» will become a joint project for Fox and DreamWorks.

The main character of eccentric history is Elvud P. Daoud, which has a friendship witg a huge invisible rabbit, and this little oddity, it is reflected in the protagonist relationships with family and friends. In 1944, a book was put on Broadway: it did not went off from the scene for 5 years and was presented to the public 1 775 times. In 1950, it was released to the screen with James Stewart and Josephine Hull in the lead roles.

Shootings «Harvey» will start early next year, as long as Spielberg is determined from the leading role, choosing between Tom Hanks and Will Smith.
