Mega Producer Jerry Bruckheimer was late to join the parsing the giant robots, but still found a way out and took under his wing – graphic novel «World War Robot» from publishers IDW Publishing.

The deal was concluded at the Comic-Con last week, and its details Bruckheimer kept in secret. We know only, that the author of comics Ashley Wood and IDW president Ted Adams is likely to act as executive producers of the film.

The source of the comics is a chronicle of World War (represented by both the warring parties), in the heart of the story – small groups of people and robots, fighting both on the ground and on the Moon and on the Mars.
